A Fume Hood is a critical laboratory safety device designed to capture, contain, and exhaust hazardous fumes, vapors, and airborne contaminants, ensuring a clean and safe working environment. Constructed using galvanized iron with enamel paint interior finish, this fume hood is built for durability and chemical resistance, making it suitable for chemical laboratories, research institutions, pharmaceutical labs, and industrial testing facilities.
The unit is closed on three sides, with a 5 mm thick clear glass up-and-down sliding door on the front for visibility and protection. A centrifugal blower mounted on top of the hood, coupled with a suitable motor, ensures efficient suction and directs fumes safely out of the laboratory through an external duct. The blower and casing are made of mild steel with polyurethane paint-coated or FRP finish, ensuring long-lasting performance under demanding lab conditions.
